With over 14 years’ experience, Cami heads up the alternative investment team at RisCura. She provides unlisted investment services for clients across all alternative asset classes such as private equity, infrastructure, and private debt. As a director of RisCura Fundamentals (Pty) Ltd she is also the training officer overseeing RisCura’s Chartered Accountant training programme, which has produced five chartered accounts specialising in private equity.

Cami’s passion for business led her to gaining invaluable corporate governance and risk management expertise. This is evident in her appointments as independent non-executive director in the asset management, printing, enterprise development and state-owned entity space. These include ministerial appointments on the University of the Western Cape council and the Takeover Regulation Panel (TRP) where she is the chair of the Audit and Risk committee. She sits on the boards of Africa Check and Aeon Asset Management. She is the chairman of Tyhini, an enterprise development fund.

Cami was the executive director at Grassroots Capital, responsible for growing and monitoring the Agri-finance company loan book. She has also worked at BP Southern Africa and Investec Asset Management. She is a CA(SA) and completed her articles at KPMG. Cami is a chartered director (SA) with the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA).
