Welcome to the SAVCA Awards !

Coinciding with our 20th anniversary, the Southern African Venture Capital and Private Equity Association is excited to announce the inaugural SAVCA Industry Awards, in proud partnership with Investec. These awards will recognise portfolio companies that have thrived from private equity and venture capital investment in the region as well as the value these asset classes provide: mentorship, market access, business development,  guidance around corporate governance and so much more. “Our desire is to make a meaningful contribution in society by supporting efforts that enable people to become active economic participants in society; hence entrepreneurship is one of our key focus areas alongside education. Stimulation of entrepreneurial thinking and activity in a country such as ours will go a long way, not only in encouraging innovative solutions to the many social challenges we face, but also in facilitating the growth of many other people - for in the growth of entrepreneurship lies the growth of many people, communities and society broadly.”
