Vacancy: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER – HARARE, ZIMBABWE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced person to join a leading private equity firm based in Harare, Zimbabwe, to manage the finance and accounting functions as CFO.

The successful individual must be well driven, dynamic and results-oriented, and preferably with prior experience working as a CFO or controller of a private equity/hedge fund/investment management firm.

The candidate must also have:

• solid technical expertise relevant to the role;
• strong written and oral communication skills, in particular the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders including investors, regulatory authorities and portfolio company management; and
• Chartered Accountant qualification.
