Ulisha Singh joins AIIM as Regional Head of East Africa

Singh joins African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM) as Regional Head for East Africa. She is responsible for originating investments into infrastructure projects and companies across East Africa. Singh will continue to build on AIIM’s investment strategy for the region.

Singh brings an in-depth knowledge of the infrastructure sector developed as part of Old Mutual‘s Infrastructural, Developmental and Environmental Assets (IDEAS) team (a component of Old Mutual Alternative Investments) where shewas a member of the senior management team responsible for transaction execution and ongoing asset managementof an infrastructure portfolio of ZAR6.4billion. Singh played a key role in Old Mutual’s investments in toll roads, public private partnerships and renewable assets over the last five years.

AIIM, established in 2000 as a joint venture between the Macquarie Group and Old Mutual Investment Group, manages and advises funds that invest long-term institutional unlisted equity in African infrastructure projects. AIIM has over USD1 billion in funds under management across five African infrastructure funds managed out of its offices in South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria.
