An award-winning broadcaster, chairperson, conference MC and author. His brand-new talk – ‘Discover What it Takes to Win! in South Africa’ is based on his début book ‘Win! – Compelling Conversations with 20 Successful South Africans’.

Jeremy Maggs is the host of ‘News Day’ on eNCA, he also presents TV’s longest-running marketing and media magazine show, “Maggs on Media”.

He started his career as a cadet reporter on The Herald newspaper in Port Elizabeth and later moved to the Sunday Tribune in Durban. Then followed 10 years at Radio 702 where he rose to Head of News. He was instrumental in developing the Eyewitness News brand.

Later he hosted the South African incarnation of hit television quiz show ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’ which ran for over 100 episodes.

In 2017 he was inducted into the Liberty Radio Awards Hall of Fame and also won the best news and current affairs programme category for his show ‘The Power Update’ which he presented for a year on Power 98.7 FM.
