John Oliphant is the founding director and Chairman of Third Way Investment Partners, a fund of fund platform with AUM of R2bn.

John also serves as the Chairman of All Weather Capital – a leading hedge fund manager with AUM of R8bn, is the founding Chairman of RH Bophelo,- a listed healthcare fund, and a Non-executive director of South Point.

John is the former Principal Executive Officer of the GEPF. He was the key driver behind GEPF’s leading investment policies and strategy including the Developmental and Responsible Investment framework.

John holds a BSc (Actuarial Science & Mathematical Statistics), BSc(Hons) Advanced Mathematics of Finance, and MSc Finance (Economic Policy).
