Rory manages the 27four Black Business Growth Fund, the first and only fund of private equity funds focused on black-owned and managed South African private equity funds.

Rory also oversees all unlisted investments for 27four, a black, women-owned multi-manager, with R60 billion under management and advice. Rory is acknowledged as an expert in the field of unlisted investments and has trained corporate and public sector investors on the nuances of unlisted investments across several countries.

In 2010 he initiated industry-wide performance reporting for the South African private equity industry in collaboration with SAVCA, and in 2012 he created and was the lead author on the series of Bright Africa reports on African investment markets.
